I have been an Artist for longer than I can remember and a photographer for eleven years. The love affair began when I developed my first print in the dark room. There is nothing like that feeling as the image begins to form under the thin layer of developer. I was hooked. I soon found my favorite time to go take pictures was when no one in their right mind would go outside. I love walking through the heavy fog in familiar areas.
I always discover something I didn’t see before. My paintings come from images that flash into my mind during moments of extreme emotion. I enjoy the challenge of portraying complex emotions in a painting.
